At Cashflow Entertainment, we’ve found our company’s joint venture using a Chinese manufacturing base in Zhongshan to be very successful.

Cashflow Entertainment recognised that iconic brands have found a global opportunity so the company embarked on a joint venture bringing together 20 engineers and an additional 80 support staff.

The venture allows internal relationships ‘in house’ between our Australian facility and Chinese based research and development teams. This flows through to other areas including assembly line processes, supplier chains and global distribution chains.

Cashflow Entertainment retains the design and manufacture of PCBs and software within our Australian shores so we can quickly alter technology at short notice, be responsive to customer’s technical needs, and ensure quality controls remain in-house. To date, our Western customers have applauded this decision stating their biggest issue was long term local support and repairs of imported PCB’s
This decision eliminated our customer’s fears of Cashflows offshore manufacturing.

With this joint venture, which is somewhat unique for the amusement industry – Cashflow Entertainment can respond to demands for customer changes at a local level, (based from the Gold Coast office) or at a manufacturing level from China.

Cashflow Entertainment is proud of this decision. We believe we may well be the only Australian company in our industry currently investing at this level.

As an unexpected benefit, the joint venture partner already had a small stable of games that Cashflow Entertainment were given wholesale access to. As the relationship has strengthened, we have added several more redemption games to the line-up, three which are already on onsite trials in Australia, another one is undergoing final development in Australia and we have two more redemption games under development.

Recent customer feedback indicates that through Cashflow Entertainment, I am able to supply higher quality machine than I had previously.

With the Chinese-based facilities, Cashflow Entertainment can further assist customers through greatly reduced local pricing whilst maintaining the quality.

I can now respond to customers who claim price must be linked to quality, that the tide has changed and world-class quality can be achieved at substantially lower prices than in the past.

This translates to our customers being able to keep their capital costs lower per machine, allowing the purchase of increased quantities and variety of games than in recent times, translating into business growth opportunities. It also means operators can operate a variety of types of games at the same locations, thus spreading financial risk compared to relying on only one or two types of game.

By helping operators develop varied merchandising ideas and adapting hardware or software for their needs with specific location testing, we can both enjoy future business opportunities and growth.

Customers have already shared some great idea for a new game with us, but more often lack a suitable facility for development. We can, and do assist with development of their concept and can be taken through to production ready standard.

It is the manufacturers’ responsibility to work hand in hand with the operator to explore or commercialise any opportunities for the benifit of both parties.

Cashflow Entertainment expect a long term joint venture with our Chinese based manufacturer to provide high quality, highly reliable, amusement machines at greater cost effectiveness to all western markets. Our western customer’s feedback lays comfort in the knowledge, that the PCB and software is designed in house, therefore modifications and maintenance will be fast and efficient, and technical support will be available for years to come.
